As an Iranian-American living in the Unites States for the past 30 years, I will do my best to bring the important issues that are at the center of the Iranian community to the democratic platform to be heard. Our rich community and culture needs to understand that the power of voting in America is what makes our country great, and it is because of this wonderful constitutional right that makes voting the most important message that we need to send out to the constituents. I will make certain that as a board member I will do everything legally to my power to have our voice and concerns heard before the Democratic Party, hence making our community as strong as or even stronger than other emigrant communities.
