Mr. Marzara is a Graduate of Civil Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona, B.S. 1977, and M.S. 1979 and Phd program student at UCI in 1984 and 1985.
Mr. Marzara has worked as a Project Manager and Project Engineer with three consulting firms (Simpson & Associates, Jerry Tucker & Associates, and Langston & Associates) for ten years.
Also Mr. Marzara has held the following positions:
- Associate Professor at Cal Poly Pomona in the Civil Engineering Department full time from 1982 to 1986
- Lecturer in Department of Civil Engineering at UCI part time from 1981 to 1982
- Course coordinator for Civil Engineering Professional Registration at UCI extension for 10 years
- Structural Plan Check Engineer for the city of Santa Ana for the past 14 years (1989 to present)
Mr. Marzara is married and has an 18 year old daughter. He has been a resident of Southern California since 1968, is a U.S. citizen, and a registered Democrat since 1986.
